JAMES LAURENCE
FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CEO
James Laurence is the owner of Legerity Sports Performance in Covington, WA. In 2013, James left his full-time job to pursue his passion of training athletes. Laurence is a graduate of Western Washington University (WWU), where he played football and basketball. Prior to earning a scholarship at WWU, he played football and ran track & field for the Antelope Valley College Marauders.
With more than 17 years of training experience and a bachelor’s degree focused in exercise science, James has worked with a wide variety of youth, elite high school, collegiate, and professional athletes.
James is a dedicated coach, with vision and passion for each individual he works with. He not only equips them physically, but mentally as well. His commitment to his athletes pushes their performance to the highest level of excellence, on and off the field. His two main slogans are “Compete Or Don’t Eat” and “Grades Get You Paid.”

Hailey is an elite athlete currently playing soccer for the University of Washington.
She has been an athlete at LSP for 2 years as well as an apprentice under Coach J over the last year.
Hailey is a strength and performance coach for our rookies and assists with our middle and high school athletes.
