TRAINING PROGRAMS

ROOKIE

The Rookie Program is designed for athletes 12 years and under:

Basic introduction to Speed, Movement & Power:
Athletes will learn the basics through calisthenics, plyometrics, speed drills and basic weight lifting. Rookie athletes will also establish core strength, flexibility, movement patterns and motor skills. Athletes will improve their overall conditioning.

Introduction to athletic work ethic:
Rookie athletes will learn to develop a positive and confident character and good sportsmanship while learning how to become a leader on and off the field/court.

JR. HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL

Our Youth & High school programs include:

Introduction to Speed and Movement:
Athletes will work on speed: which brings in attributes of acceleration, deceleration, fast power, upper and lower body synchronization, also focusing on movement which entails many aspects including; agility, balance, strategic anticipation and change of direction.

Introduction to Power and Core stabilization/balance:
Athletes will focus on proper lifting mechanics while generating as much force as fast as possible (explosive strength). Athletes will also learn to strengthen the abdominal wall and surrounding muscles to improve coordination and aid in injury prevention. There will be emphasis on postural alignment and proper biomechanics.

Flexibility:
Athletes will learn techniques through the use of static, dynamic, and functional movement to increase flexibility.

Development of athletic work ethic:
Athletes will continue to develop a positive and confident character and good sportsmanship while learning how to become a leader on and off the field/court.

COLLEGE

LSP tailors training programs geared for athletes who are already playing at the collegiate level. Our philosophy is that an athlete should never over train but have proper exercise selection and specific loads to ensure optimal results. Whether or not you are at home on a break or permanently in the area, LSP will put together a program specific to your needs and timetable. The following are sports we have been involved with: football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, track and field, soccer, rugby, wrestling, & cheer.

PROFESSIONAL

LSP offers effective training programs designed to help athletes improve their performance, minimize injury risk, and prolong their professional careers. Just as with collegiate athletes, LSP customizes programs for athletes who are already playing at the professional level. The same philosophy applies; an athlete should never over train but have proper exercise selection and specific loads to ensure optimal results. On and off-season, LSP will put together a training program specific to your needs and timetable to keep you ahead of the game.
